This past season was one of the most fun and fascinating in Boise State football history. On the field it was beautiful. Ashton Jeanty had the best individual season by any Bronco ever. Maddux Madsen proved he can be a successful FBS QB. Spencer Danielson found immediate success and the Broncos won the MWC. Ahhh, it was sweet.
But some off the field questions arose. Malachi Nelson, 5* superstar recruit doesn’t see the playing time some Bronco fans thought he should and ends up transferring.

But some off the field questions arose. Malachi Nelson, 5* superstar recruit doesn’t see the playing time some Bronco fans thought he should and ends up transfering. Dirk Koetter, while wildly successful as the OC, is gone replaced by an unproven former Bronco in Nate Potter. Who will be the backup QB next year? Plenty to talk about. So, I though, let’s get an inside look at last season’s team and a look inside that QB room.
Colt Fulton, who had had another year of eligibility but opted to walk away from football, was kind enough to sit down and discuss all of these topics.
I hope you enjoy the interview!
